The purchase of abstract paintings

Apr-26-2008 By admin

Buying and collecting abstract painting can be a labor of love. I like abstract paintings. I think my favorite is medium-gouache. I recently purchased a work of Oscar Bluemner. The person who bought the abstract painting that had been in storage for more than twenty years. I’m going to hang this piece in my office.

I have found an abstract oil painting that was dated 1947 that was painted by Louis Siegriest Bassi. I liked the composition, in his view, strangely soft. The artist signed the back of the painting. It is a bit out of my price range, but I bought it anyway.

Trade Winds is the name of an abstract painting that I bought from the artist Joanne Riddle while I was in Connecticut. The piece was huge and I had to have it shipped by freight to my house. The blue paint was so vivid. The entire composition is absolutely inspired.

I bought a painting abstract to my sister-in-law last year. The artist of the piece was Leonardo Nierman and that the means used was oil. I bought the piece UNFRAMED and took my sister-in-law to choose the frame to frame.

I tried to buy an abstract painting by the mayor of our city. I offered him two thousand dollars for the modernist abstract graphic colors. The artist uses red, white and blue and I wanted to buy this for my stepmother. She would have loved, but the mayor was unwilling to part with him.

My mother has decorated her home in a style he liked to Santa Fe. I bought a large abstract painting for her from her favorite artist, Lou Monti. She has seen her work in a number of houses and always raves about them. She was so happy when he saw the painting I bought for her hanging on the wall of his living room.

I once dated a guy who had signed an abstract painting by Robert Gilbjerg in its wall. I saw something different each time they saw him. That the painting had an attraction that I just can not quite explain. He was always buying and changing art abstract paintings on its walls, but this particular piece always remained. I suppose he felt attracted to it as well.

The abstract painting that I bought for my older brother has not worked in his apartment. I ended up buying a painting that was a little too big for the room was intended. The colors did not work in the only room that worked for their size.

I finished the sale of abstract painting to the same place that I had bought, on eBay! I ended up making a profit on the abstract painting. There was more at auction on the artist, Richard Diebenkorn, who had been in the auction that I won. I think the extra hour of the investigation that he spent the abstract painting’s value increases.

I learned long ago that an abstract painting is worth exactly as much as someone who is willing to pay for it. I have friends who can not be convinced of this basic truth. I think if anybody wants an abstract painting, then it is worth nothing.

My brother used the money from the sale of unwanted abstract painting to find himself another abstract painting. The term with an abstract collage that was made in late 1930. I liked when I saw him and it worked wonderfully in his office.

The purchase of folk art paintings

Apr-19-2008 By admin

Buying paints folk art has become a passion of mine. I’ve been looking everywhere they appear. I found a bunch of folk art paintings recently and I’m having trouble deciding what to buy.

There was a folk art painting of the Rev. Howard Finster is entitled to Howard in 1944. This is a popular art enamel paint that was painted in 1988. The smile on this portrait is very attractive and makes me smile just as big.

I am also really taken by a folk art painting that was painted by artist Bill Dodge in October 1962. The title of the painting is the first Trolley To Van Nuys. The painting is on board and represents the city centre with all the people of the city. They are in windows and on the street. The city market, bakery, hotel Van Nuys, to be an ice cream and laundry Lee Wing are represented in all the vibrant colors. The woman in the foreground are against the Trolley and their signs read “the prohibition of Monster” and “Keep Van Nuys rural.”

Thomas Chambers is a major folk artists. I found a piece of what I just do not like very much. It’s a little austere for my taste. The theme is a scene with villagers and fishing boats. I do not think I’m going to buy this folk art painting because I just do not like.

There was a folk art I found the painting called Alligator Fisher that was painted in 1940 that I really like. The Blue Bayou is very reassuring and trees give it a very Southern feel. There is a swamp house in the painting and I like this much. This reminds me very strongly of Louisiana.

My mother started this passion of mine folk art paintings. He had a folk art painting of John Roeder parlor in our growth. I used to spend hours just looking at him. The trees were so relaxing to lose my in. I have asked me this wonderful folk art painting many times, but she said that I have to wait until after his funeral!

I found a folk art painting during my trip that I felt sad every time I looked. The name of the painting is a letter from my mother. Seeing the girl’s face is so serious and sad. I have no idea that this folk art painting should hang. The painting itself is magnificent, but merely makes me feel sad.

There is an entire subset of folk art paintings that represent black American. I usually do not buy any of these pieces, since they do not talk to my experience. I did find a piece that I bought by a collector friend of mine who loves this kind of art. The folk art was a painting whimsical feel to it and a woman relaxing in a hammock. The hung in her hallway and has loved for a long time.

My brother likes folk art paintings as much as I do. Rather animals to be buying paintings. I found a beautiful cloud leopard folk art painting for him last Christmas and have been asked to keep my eyes open for more like him. He said that going to buy any art I find it for him because he trusts that I know and understand their tastes.

I kept my eyes open for animals thematic folk art paintings of my brother, but I just can not seem to find any as nice as the leopard that I gave to him. The powerful animals thematic folk art paintings that I found recently was a painting of two owls on a limb and I know he does not like. Since they were children, owls totally freak him.

I’ve been looking impressionistic cityscapes in various ways to decorate my house. I prefer to hang art that was created in the last fifteen years. There are so many great artists to choose from.

I have decided that I would have three impressionistic cityscapes painted in acrylic. I will buy one called Desert Stormy which was painted by an artist named JoanAnn. The piece is painted in a 40 “x 30″ canvas and has plants in cactus flower in the foreground.

The next city impressionist painting I plan to buy is called Tuscan waterfall. The piece is a triptych and is wrapped in three paintings gallery. The artist lives in Tennessee and supports herself with her art.

The latest acrylic impressionist cityscape that I intend to buy is called Dream of Autumn. Autumn is my favorite time of year and painting captures all the colors of autumn. The artist painted the sides, so there’s no need for that part. I can not wait to see this hanging in my house.

I found only two impressionistic cityscapes that I liked in the middle Gouache. The first was an artist named Joe Wojdakowski and the issue is an area in Wells, Maine. I’m not sure why I am so drawn to this urban landscape impressionist, but I am and plan to buy.

The other Gouache impressionist cityscape that I plan to buy elements Big Ben in London. The artist is an Englishman named Alasdair Rennie. The scene is rainy and I like a lot. This reminds me of my time in London when I was a kid.

The first oil painting impressionist cityscape I bought was called Koi Pond Reflections. I’ve seen this artist’s work before and actually, I always like. The painting was completed using brush and knife. The painting has not come, however, because the paint is very thick and needs to complete the drying process unchanged. I can not wait to get there!

I really like to have several styles of painting impressionist cityscape. I not only as a variety of means, I love the variety of styles and influences. I really fell in love with an oil painting by impressionist cityscape called Path In that originally was purchased in Oaxaca, Mexico. I bought the painting for just over three thousand U.S. dollars.

The oil painting impressionist cityscape of Paris I want is painted by a painter recognized as Radik Atoyan. It is Armenian and signed the painting in his Armenian language. He has a unique way to use the only color that makes it special to see his painting.

I have also been interested in Impressionist watercolor paintings cityscape. There is an original painting that represents an urban rainy night that I think would be perfect for me. The painting just makes me feel good to consider.

I made a purchase not long ago that was painted by an artist called Israeli Yosef Kosssonogi. The use of this color in watercolor impressionist cityscape is so vivid. I could not wait to hang on my wall. After the shipment arrived with paint, my brother came right at a level to hang.

I found a painting that reminded me of a vacation I took to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The urban landscape impressionist painting was created by Adam Maeroff and I think it is the perfect painting to complete my collection.

Buying paintings Jew

Apr-5-2008 By admin

I have a family who has instructed me to find all the Jews of paintings that I find. I was not given the budgetary constraints. I’m not sure why there are no guidelines to follow for me, he just wants to accumulate a collection quickly.

He found an oil on canvas that was a Jew painting called Jewish meeting. The artist was Amparo Cruz Herrera. The artist is Spanish and this work exudes grace. I liked a lot. I bought is eight thousand dollars. My benefactor was happy with the purchase.

My client made no distinction between Jews paintings were religious in nature and only those who were painted by a Jewish person. I bought a rare Leon Bakst that was dated 1910. Its object was a person in an exotic costume. I am not sure that my client plans to display it.

The next Jewish painting I found for him was an oil town in an abandoned house in Veroia. This table only six cost thousands of dollars. Veroia is a Jewish neighborhood in northern Greece. I thought that this picture is a little disturbing.

I found another good Jew painting for my client. The title of the painting was Juedisches oesterreich Jewish Austria and was created by Frank Ettenberg in 2004. The person who sold me the painting said that the painting evokes a feeling of the artist’s state of being face to face with nationalism, ethnic identity and an existential situation.

I found another Jew I liked the painting of four thousand U.S. dollars. The oil painting called Bird of Paradise was painted by Maurice Sterne. Sterne was a Jewish immigrant from Russia. It was the first person to have a retrospective at the Museum of Modern Art. It was exhibited 174 paintings, drawings and sculptures.

I found a Jewish painting of a cat being sold for thirty five hundred dollars. The artist of this work was Wettingfeld Zarojewski. I could not find any other work of this artist at all. My client really liked it. It is also a cat lover besides being a Jewish art collector.

There was a Jew wonderful painting of a woman seated. I fell in love with her in sight. The woman is represented so comfortable and reflective. I feel comfortable just looking at it.

Finally found an important Jewish religious painting for my client. The artist was Joan Landis and the title of the painting was Simhat Torah. This is the painting that was used by Pomegranate Publishing for calendar 2003 and its greeting cards. I thought it was charming.

I liked the painting of both Jews Joan Landis, who looked over his work. I bought two tables. One of the paintings was named Shabbat and the other is a mikveh. I took the three that I bought for my client and he fell in love with them. He asked me to see more of his work.

He found more work by Joan Landis and I bought every one I found. I found three of the other Jewish paintings on eBay at reasonable prices. I bought Shavuot, Purim and the birth of three thousand U.S. dollars each. I felt like I got a bargain.

I liked the colors of the painting I bought called The Jewish tailoring. This scenario was created by Jacob Glushakow. He was an active member of the Jewish community in Baltimore. His parents were immigrants from Russia at the beginning of WW1. Have a painting that is exposed in the permanent collection of the Baltimore Museum of Art.

I was fortunate to find two Jewish Jacob Glushakow paintings in the same buying trip. The other painting I found was titled Barn in Maryland. I liked a lot and my client was very pleased with what I’ve brought for him.
